Cara mendisable autorun.inf pada Windows

virus-komputerBagaimana cara mendisable autorun.inf pada Windows ?
Hal ini guna mencegah semakin menyebarnya virus melalui flashdisk, hardisk external ataupun CD/DVD.

Cara tersebut adalah sebagai berikut :

  1. Buka Registry Editor dengan mengetik regedit pada menu Start – Run
  2. Buka node HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\Microsoft\ Windows\CurrentVersion \Explorer\MountPoints2
  3. Klik kanan pada mountpoints2 pilih permission
  4. Kemudian klik tombol Advanced yang ada di pojok kanan bawah
  5. Uncheck ‘inherit from parent the permission entires that apply to child objects.Include these with entires explicity defined here‘
  6. Pilih Remove pada menu konfirmasi yang ada
  7. Klik OK hingga semua dialog window tertutup.
